13 August 2025

The City wishes to inform residents that the Strand Customer Interaction and Motor Vehicle Registration and Licencing office will be closed until further notice following a pipe burst that has caused damage to the facility. The City apologises for the inconvenience caused.

As a precaution, the office has been temporarily closed while thorough assessments of the damage and the necessary repairs are undertaken.

Residents are kindly advised to make use of their nearest alternative Customer Interaction Centre or City Motor Vehicle Registration and Licencing office during this period. The City apologises for the inconvenience and we assure residents that the matter is receiving urgent attention so that services can resume as soon as possible.
